ARCHITECTURE DESIGN STUDIO 2

Through series of lectures and tutorials, this modules aims to design architecture informed and linked to a site context with user requirements. There are 3 projects completed throughout this module. We had undertake a series of studio-based tutorials, site visits and workshops that introduces the diagramming and designing with architectural principals and material.
Project 1
This assignment is a group assignment, I am in a group with Boon Jhun Xi, Kevin Tan Guo Chen, Lim Sin Ying and Siah Chu Yang. Jason (Siah Chu Yang) is the leader of our group. In this assignment, each group is assigned to an architect and his selected key building. According to the case study, we are suppose to conduct a background research on the assigned architect and his selected key building and to produce a complete set of architectural drawings.
Project 2
In this project, we have to define and further explore the architectural principle(s) from previous Project 1 and the self-consciousness. Moreover, we have to also communicate our ideas, thoughts and design development through diagramming, drawings and model making to generate and craft Architectural Folly that has spatial experience, with a maximum volume of 125 m3.
