Daylighting
In this assignment, we have to identify passive design strategies for Daylighting, to analyze the effect of comfort factors in a person and in a space relating to Lighting. Besides we also have to identify architectural idea/concept, how the ambiance is created, sustainability features of this lighting system. We also have to be able to criticize design of the space in terms of thermal comfort by referring to appropriate standards such as ASHRAE, MS1525 , UBBL and GBI.
The outcome
In this project I learned the importance of daylighting, which actually influence a building quite a lot. I personally like to open up the windows in my room as wide as it could because it saves my parents electricity bills. I mean, there is actually free wind and lighting and why not? That is also a reason why I am interested in this topic, I tend to be the wordy one in my family if I find someone wasting electricity. Besides that, I also get to know more about my seniors through this project as this is the first time not working with students from my batch but my seniors, it is quite fun I learned a lot from them, they are friendly and nice.
